The firewall is up, and I think my computer is mostly sorted out. Will see. I'm going to go ahead and say that MacAfee is better than Norton, though. I just bought the update disc for this machine (yes, I'm still on the old machine right now, because the file was on this C drive) a few weeks ago, but since Norton seems to be sorted out on the other, I think I'll leave things as they are. Regarding Word vs. Works -- my brother has had the same issues with file transfer, so at least I was forwarned. Because I've been using LJ, most of my files are in rtf. already.

I'm getting depressed, and this is what comes of it. Still doesn't have a title. Has continuity with my other stuff, though, go fig.

Dueling poems with William Shakespeare ("Let me not to the marriage of true minds...") and Christina Rosetti ("What Would I Give"), and it's a food fic, and dear gods it hurt like hell to write. I barely lasted to the almost 2000 words, and I'm so jumpy (espresso) that I forgot the disclaimer! TouyaxYue Only on ff.net so Konnie can read it. The last stanza of the Rosetti poem applies to me right now:

All in all, I think I did a good job with it. But maybe it's the caffeine talking. I am never writing anyone else's OTP again. In fact, I'm not going to write any more pairings at all. ( Which means: )

The full-size colored Nadeshiko is cuter (so is the sketch) but 100 pixels is limiting. Maybe I'll put it somewhere eventually, probably hidden in the Desk Drawer.

Okay, so, I also just put a bunch of entries in as "memories", which will give you an overview of me if you've just noticed me. {waves to new friends} I'll check them periodically, so if you have a comment to add, please do, particularly on the OTP and whether or not I should put warnings on my writing. Thanks!
