"Clow Stories" progress

I just finished writing Study, the chapter that will be 8.  But I'm going to make you wait a bit before putting it up... because Clow's little games are rubbing off on me... no, really, it's because I have to use a different browser and it's effing slow.  And I'm kind of tired.  And I am really really wicked.  It'll be up before the weekend is over; you can let me know then if I'm any good at writing this kind of ecchi stuff.

I was up at some ungodly hour, 6am I think, writing a bit of this but mostly a much later chapter (about half done) that's more story than smut, and on top of that, I got the idea for an epilogue-ish end chapter, for which I had to look up "The Highwayman" by Noyes (to find the publishing date).  I hadn't read that poem since Jr. High School.  I'd forgotten how amazing it is!  The rhyme scheme is odd, and the story is high drama, but, wow.  Jeez, I should give you a link here... .  But if I'm too lazy and mean to post Study, then I'm definitely too lazy to save you a search.

And add to that, I was possessed to offer to beta read for someone.  Maybe I am having a  manic episode.

(some time later) I lied. It's up now. Ch 8 If it's really bad, don't tell me. For the love of Mike. I don't think it's terrible, but I feel like the narrative flow is bad.

Elihice, mind loaning me that fan? What a chapter, But this is a very interesting, well-done story, and I'm interested in seeing where it goes. because we all know where it ends...possibly.

...in a good way, of course. Your chapters always leave me craving more, and this one was no exception. In this case, I was cursing myself for starting to read this fic before it had finished--because I'm so terribly eager to dive into the next chapter :D Your writing is riveting enough without the sex, and now that the fic *has* sex, it just might give me a heartattack :D I'm terribly curious to see where this is all going...because we know at least something of how the story ends already...

Also, even if it doesn't have exactly the same flow as the previous chapters did, it is by *no means* bad. I really like how you've captured the feeling of the early passion in a relationship, and if I wasn't hooked before I'm captivated now.

*taps out a vein, pleads for more SOON*
