butterflydreaming: The steps of the Sizzle dance (Sizzle)
Vol. 2 of The Beyond queer comic anthology

Like other smart Kickstarters, a $20 pledge gets you a print copy plus pdf. They are already funded, so the remaining weeks are for everyone who wants one while they can get them.

Storyclock Notebook: A Notebook Designed for Screenwriters

Writers, at least watch the vid for this one! $5 gets you a pdf, but I would put $5 in just for the method he created.

Brought to my attention by [personal profile] buhrger: How to Walk Across a Parking Lot

If you do nothing else right today, at least you sat at fifty miles an hour.

This is the kind of news I enjoy reading.

NPR.org on diminutive Haas.

Elisabeth Silva, San Diego County's agricultural crime prosecutor who deals every year in a number of avocado theft cases, says there could be foul play behind the sudden flood of tiny avos.

Avocado theft. My day is improved.

"I have mixed feelings about this."

"Get rid of them all and RUN!"

Read this clever comic strip. Jim seems quite open minded about who he dates. Marcus listens to his woes. I like that Jim's dates aren't the usual or familiar.

...except [livejournal.com profile] irishninja, unless he's not the one eating 'em: Free Sample of Chocolates.

I think I'm going to post this link at [livejournal.com profile] surprise_inside also. Haven't been there in months.

Edit: While I'm posting links, I'll add this one to an article with the oddest tone... Caring for Your Introvert. We are *so* the wrong audience for it.

I went all over town today, and ended up buying issues 4 & 5 of the manga in the crappy Americanized form...

what that's all about )

These are some sources that I have recently found useful. The best one for someone who doesn't own the DVDs is this one:

Peacewish recommended that one. It has the episodes in narrative form, with the action and settings included.

And for a carefully thought out breakdown of which Card is under whom, there's the one that Tamchronin and Aishuu put together:

The Clow Cards

And these were the other sites to which I was also directed:

Rabi's translations has the dialog as translated on the DVDs (I think).

CCS Episode Transcript Project has different translations.
