And my first thought was "that word/name exists in English?! or are they initials for the company who made the, um, water-for-firefighters-providing-thing?"
And it's a terribly mysterious device. It had some gauges and little windows on it. I think it had something to do with regulating or measuring the raising and lowering of locks, but I don't know.
