I haven't been able to concentrate on the book. I guess it's just hot enough outside to send me drifting. And somewhere, I was hit in the side of the head with a story inspiration, so I started writing "The Strawberry Thief", which will be a mystery/suspense/thriller... not actually. I'm attempting humor/mystery. And betting that no one is a fan of William Morris like me.
Still... 45 members on MM2. That's... a lot. And 20 stories this week. So, I'm not going to try to get "Strawberry Thief" in for this week, and I'll just see how the writing of it goes, because it needs to be a couple of pages. Instead, I might take a stab at "a 100 word story that is exactly one logical sentence". Well, I do love those compound sentences! Now I just need to have a point. And prevent myself from turning it into verse.
With a couple of people on vacation, this place starts to echo. Come on... entertain me with your thoughts... . Keep me from joining more communities, Please!

Once upon a magical time, when brave hearts were unafraid of the scorn of the wider world, a smart and sincere girl (or perhaps, a generous and clever boy) met another lonely girl (or perhaps, this one was also a boy), fell deeply, completely, and serendipitously in love -- despite the obstacles -- with her (or with him), was fearlessly loved in return with as much passion and with a reciprocal tenderness, and, Dear Reader, if you haven’t heard otherwise, lived happily ever after to the end of their days, which were many, slow in passing, and full of serentity and joy.
