That's a fair point! I often hear writers ashamed of "old stuff," though.
Depends how much you've matured, I think. My juvenilia was all in
pre-Internet days and wouldn't have made it into print (well, apart
from the story that won a children's writing competition when I was in
primary school and got published :-p), so I don't have anything out
there from before I was adult... or at least, nothing I'm ashamed of.
I do have a couple of teenage things transcribed on my website -- and this :-)
I think of my creations as my children. It's pretty rare for one of them to
be unloved at least a little, even the awful, unsavable ones.
Creation really is an act of love, I think.
