The last time I had held a controller, it had a lot less buttons.
omnifarious sat me down in front of Katamari Damacy this morning. (I kept thinking, I hope
spazzychic doesn't get mad for not getting to me first.) As expected, I'm pretty terrible.
Later today I went out in the bold sunshine to Alki, where
divinityof_fire and I peered around an Indian cultural festival. We then got some dinner and headed up the hill to see The Lady in the Water. I meant to see it weeks ago, but somehow... . I love Shyamalan. His earlier movies were stronger films in terms of mainstream appeal, but I *liked* Signs and The Village, and I liked this one, too. His storytelling style appeals to me. I think he fills his movies with strong actors who get to play characters that they enjoy.
Before the movie, we wandered around Metropolitan Market for a bit and admired the cheeses. Mmm, cheese. The variety makes me want to throw a party.

Nevertheless, yours must also have those adorable, tiny fresh mozzarella spheres marinated in herbs & oil. So many good cheeses. So many varieties of brie and chevre. I like the ones that are rolled in things, like herbs or walnuts. With Carrs crackers or some good European style bread, perhaps a glass of fermented fruit, honey, or grain.

They often have good Jazz or Blues on weekend afternoons and evenings. If you drive, fancy a drive south? Or would you rather I meet you at some place closer to your home?
Give me a call. Contact info is in my memories.
