(edit:)I want a man who will hold the door for me, not because I'm a woman, but because I'm going through the same doorway.

Wrenched from [livejournal.com profile] mimerki's delicate little hands:

Tell me about something I, or you and I, did. It can be as serious or off-the-wall as you like. The only criteria is that it never actually happened.

No ratings cap -- I'm feeling wicked. Comments will be screened.

Remember that time you and I got really drunk? And, feeling crazy, we huddled over my laptop. There, in the darkness, with the neon screen shining blue on our face, we discovered it. A website of nothing but intelligent Card Captor Sakura fanfiction. Oh, we read for hours and hours, until we passed out.
Too bad we were too drunk to remember that URL...

The tequila! It's always the tequila!

I don't know how you talked me into sledding that time. I mean, I hate snow and cold and wet, which is pretty much sledding right there, but there we were, and it was kind of fun even if we got snow up our noses and down our pants, and I still want to know how I got snow in my socks.

And there was that guy, who kept trying to get us to drink his cocoa, except that it smelled so strongly of booze that we would fall over giggling whenever he offered it, and we never did figure out if he was hitting on you or me or both of us or just being friendly.

I wish the pictures of the snowman that we made, snow "cocoa" and all, had turned out!

All I'm gonna say is: Cancun, that filthy bottle of Mescal, you, me and those two hotties from Puerto Vallarta. Really. Well, that and ... did you ever find the other half of your bathing suit?

Remember that road trip to Disneyland, with stops in all the best amusement parks between here and there? And sneaking the bottle of vodka in to Magic Mountain, drinking half of it, and then losing the rest at the bottom of the log flume ride? Remember our giddy debate (not at all as quiet as we thought it was) about whether to tell the ride operator and ask him to retrieve it, and how you flirted with the burly security dude who gave us our invitations never to return? And then we found the bottle in the bottom of my purse, intact and still half-full, because it hadn't been in your little backpack at all?

By the way, are the red comments at the top of your recent posts your own thoughts, or unattributed quotes? (Because they're clever, and I like today's particularly!)

The red statements are mine, taken from my sordid pathetic particular experiences in dating & couplehood.

^_^

My little backpack... ah, the adventures it has witnessed.

Well, I will always remember that time in Miyajima. We were looking at the torii gate in the water, and petting the tame deer when PIRATES came! Heh, remember how you got the captain to take us with him as his swanky pirate wenches?

I wonder if Grizzle ever found his marble eye after that poker brawl...

Just be sure to always recall what the pirates told us. Rub those tattoos we got, and we can always call on them for aid.

Do you remember the time we found that tiny old bookshop we found that night we saw The Breakfast Club at the drive in? We found that familiar-looking old book with a lion on the front, but the moment we put it down it dissapeared. I'll never forget the look on your face when we realized what it was.
