OH, wait, wait! I forgot this -- in honor of it being a month associated with Valentine's Day, romance, and pairing, I'm going to start all my posts with a statement. Okay, here's the first one ----->1.A woman in high-heeled shoes cannot easily walk across a wet lawn, so be courteous to your date and stay on the paved paths.



I've been listening to my new CDs -- Razorlight, Snow Patrol, and Velvet Revolver -- and I'm happy with all of them. Under $20! And Easy Street now owes me a free one! Hurah! Have I told you that I met Scott Weiland? The usual way: "Can I get a name?" He smiled, clearly amused. "Scott." "Okay. Should be about 15 minutes." And a few minutes later, one of the servers said, "That's Scott Weiland, sitting in the bar!"

This post is all over the place. But that's what I get for not posting for days. What have I been doing? Writing, working (I have a second "job" now -- kind of like a volunteer thing), socializing... (there's a wicked little thing called AIM, another one called email, and another one sometimes called "real life"). Mostly, I've just been so scattered. My ink journal is filling up quickly.

So what's with the "dating advice"? You may know, my love life is a train wreck. And yes, I'm quite stupid. But I have actually learned a few things, so I've decided to share them, in a spirit of humor. Who knows, they may be useful to someone.

Blech. I'd better just give up for today.
