Stop Microwaving Steaks
I'm reading the little bit of BatB fanfic that is on AO3, rather than on the established archives. (There is even a lending library of Fanzines. On paper! Sent by snail mail!)
Observations:
Tagging, what is tagging.
"This was originally printed in [fanzine] in [pre millenial year]"
"She microwaved the steak"
:D

Beauty and the Beast?
Some of us were writing fanfic in pre-millenial years :-P
Why shouldn't you microwave steaks?
(I'm not exactly au fait with steak cookery, as they tend to be out of my budget, but microwaving sounds like a reasonable proposition...)

There is nothing actively wrong about any of my three observations above. (A few tags would be nice to have but I'm also from a time/fandom(s) before the wall-of-tags culture.) They just stand out. I'm constantly amazed at how different each fandom is about how they tell, present, and share their fanworks.
I'm always a bit sad that I missed out on-paper fandom. I bought an art zine on occasion once I was older, but I sure didn't know fanzines existed.
