I can find you (there was a place to search for members) but can't get to your profile. Here is mine (http://www.librarything.com/profile/lost_in_pages). There is a link on the profile page to add a person once you can get to the profile.

I was having much the same problem: It said "yes, there's a Lost_in_Pages" but it wouldn't let me do anything with that information. Which I think might be why so many people were using Goodreads: It had a somewhat better user interface. (Also, I want to be able to say "the one from Project Gutenberg" to the edition question. Which, considering that they'll tell you if the book *is* on PG, you'd think LibraryThing would do.)

I think that a lot of it is that it's pretty much just Tim. There is an ongoing, open discussion with him about the next steps for LT, in light of the sale of Goodreads. The bugs and the lack of a optimization for mobile are brought up.

Ah. Apparently the easiest way to find people whose user name you know is to go to your own profile, then change the URL to the friend's username instead of your own.
