But gods, it's nice to be alone today.

*slept until a reasonable hour (not really in due to cat)
*picked up the mail
*took out the compost
*threw away the smelly plastic container we've been using for compost
*took out all trash
*enjoying the cooler day!!!!!!!!
*enjoying the quiet...

L send me home with a big crab from her dad's harvest. I haven't eaten crab in... years! I'm thinking salad.

I also have a random desire for a "Galactic Burrito". (Galaktoboureko) Sure, I have phyllo in the fridge, but I also have B&O a few blocks away.

It's finally cool enough to bake spanakopita!

What's B&O by your reckoning? It's Bang & Olufsen by mine, and they don't do burritos at all.

Oh, B&O Espresso is the place with the best desserts in all of Seattle. No kidding. You might find a specific chocolate cake that is better somewhere else, but on the whole, no one else has such a can't-go-wrong dessert menu. They also make a white chocolate mocha that justifies the existence of white chocolate mochas.
