Any Quick Books masters among you?

I'm trying to avoid calling tech support. Have any of you restored a file from back up before? Had data problems afterward?

I am not a Quick Books master.

I'm going to be moving to Seattle in a few months, and I've been combing Seattle related communities in an attempt to make place seem less foreboding. We have several interests in common, and you seem like someone with insightful things to say. Do you mind if I friend you? (Obviously this implies no expectation or obligation at all when I do move to Seattle. I'm not a creepy stalker, I swear. I can produce references.)

Well, damn, if you're not a creepy stalker, I'm not sure that we can be friends. ^_~ I, myself, am not creepy. Generally.

As far as being something of a native guide -- I'm on my way out of Seattle, in the direction of the Bay Area, California. The timeline on that is undetermined... but the idea of still being in Seattle past the summer is not one I favor, since the reason for the move is... gorgeous in a utilikilt and boots.

I can try to be a creepy stalker if you really want. I may lack talent and training, but I will make up for it with raw enthusiasm! Because that always works.

This is less about finding a native guide than about demonstrating to myself that Seattle is a place populated by good people and therefore I should stop worrying about meeting people there and concentrate on reasonable fears, like that the city will be buried by a volcano. And since you're not only interesting yourself, but surrounded by the finest people I could ever hope to meet, and a few coarser ones too, you seem perfect for the job. Thanks!
