my lover sleeps on
covers pulled over his head
obstinate against morning
small twinge of envy
still, I wish it were my bed
in which he slumbered

Crumpets and Irish cream tea for breakfast. If you are a loose leaf tea drinker in Seattle, I strongly encourage you to get some of this from Perrenial (in the Market). It's worth the price, especially if you like cream tea (it does not contain dairy or Bailey's). It's more complex than Adagio's cream tea.
Tomato soup and medjool dates for lunch. Not together.
