Tea Party
Invited by extension, I attended a tea party yesterday at the house of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lumiere and his elegant lady. The place to be was at the table with Henrietta, a unicorn of great years and great charm, but that table was reserved for the differently-animate tea drinkers. I no longer have any "stuffed" (the old term) friends of my own, so I had no one to bring. divinityof_fire offered the escort of Tako-san, but that seemed a little too much like my prom.
Lots of lovely people that I didn't know, who made intelligent and amusing conversation. It was fun and I had a pleasant time. However, I find myself wanting a tea party of my own. We really should.
I also really want one of those electric hot water pots...
