The Blessings of Co-operation

I brought tomato soup and sliced como bread (Grand Central). KP had pepper jack cheese and her George Foreman grill. Co-operation made a great lunch. I also have chestnut tea from Adagio and gingersnaps made my
divinityof_fire.
I was off the internet (including email) for the entire weekend due to social activity, but come Monday I had less than a dozen unread emails. Clearly, the world will not end.
On Saturday I was in the U District for lunch at Cedars on Brooklyn. I strongly recommend them for the bottomless cup of chai. The food was good (ginormous naan) but the chai was excellent: creamy, hot, spicy and continuously refilled. A quick tour through the farmers market (most of the same vendors as West Seattle's farmers market) preceded lunch, and a quick tour through the Burke museum followed lunch as I walked down to meet
kaligrrrl at the Flexcar.
We went to fetch a beautiful purple couch for her new apartment. This was my first time driving a van! The only time K showed fear was when I answered my cell phone (yes, new) while on the 520 bridge on the way back. The rain was a wicked deluge and the couch didn't fit in the Honda van, but it all worked out because the seller drove up to Seattle (and she had an Aerostar, a great boxy thing, ugly but spacious). Afterward, we had domes at Wallingford Pizza with her D, who is very sweet and softspoken.
Then I used my cell phonefor evil for the number one use of mobile phones to booty call
omnifarious and head over to his place. Sunday was a lazy day, the best kind when it's raining buckets. I played O-kami! I also proved that unlike
rainonthewind, I can't cook breakfast foods. ^_~ (S'okay; it's not a competition.)
Monday night I finally got to meet
heidimo in person. Even though she is a Bellingham Belle, or Bellinghamster as she prefers, they know her as a regular at Ohana. The all (Monday) night happy hour is very pleasing. In other news, I am no longer allowed to drink rum drinks, however light, and attempt to do math.
