I'm not classy enough for 12-year-old whiskey

Cask strength. Yeow!

The wedding went so well that multiple people remarked on it. It's because llynecat and samildanach are blessed, of course. And everyone appeared to have a good time at the reception. There was much dancing and making of celebration. Everyone looked beautiful.

And -- on the tables were those pillow candies that kokyu was recently asking about! When the happy couple return from Italy, I need to find out where those came from. I also want to get the name of the string quartet that played during the wedding, because they were very, very good.

It was a good wedding.

Not cask strength. :-) It was ordinary single-malt whisky, but non-chill-filtered. In chill filtering the distiller, well, chills the whisky and runs it through a second filtering; this removes lipids that will precipitate and "cloud" the whisky if it's iced, but which also contribute several layers of flavor and texture.

The string quartet was Cascade Strings, whose members' day job is with the symphony.
