Tell It Straight

In a perfect world, every person would say what (s)he means, no games, no evasion. Sort of like how in the first or second grade, you weren't afraid to raise your hand to ask a question -- or even better, answer one. Sometimes I think that we never get out of high school. No one wants to speak up.

I know that I'm opinionated and bossy. I can rarely stop myself from speaking up, saying what's on my mind.

"The problem with people who say what they mean is that they think everyone else means what they say."

I would like it if people gave it to me straight. Go ahead, tell me. Go ahead, ask. Would you? How many of us feel the same way?

When I ask a question, it's not a loaded question. How you answer, or not answer, is an answer in it's own way; I'll be factoring that in to my assessment of what makes you tick; I'll be filing that in your dossier. Answer me plainly and I will respect you for it.

I don't understand you, but I keep trying to figure you out. Show me some kindness and tell it to me straight.

I totally have this problem all the time. I tend to just say whatever's on my mind without thinking... I get so tired of wondering what other people REALLY think.

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who likes things and people to be as straightforward as I am.

I'm going to try to answer your Nohari window now, but I want you to know that it goes against my grain to pick from a set of words not of my choosing to describe people I don't know as well as I'd like to, and whom I like.

So make of that what you will and don't hate me for doing what you ask.
