If there is someone who negatively impacted your life, hurt you and left emotional bruises and/or scars, and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, who you would have been better off never having met, then post this same sentence in your journal.

close. the people who have known me well enough to hurt me are not ones whose influence i would erase.

That's how I felt about that one, too. I don't like bad times or bad people, but they help shape me, so I don't wish they never happened. I just wish to know better the next time before I get hurt.

Having met through the internet, in general. My point is that the plusses and minuses of meeting someone through the internet vs. meeting someone in any other way are comparable.
