It's nearly 1am and I'm not in bed yet.

I'm...

...nevermind.

not the actual cassette, nope. there's actually a .pdf here - unforunately, it looks like they de-bound a book and scanned it, so the pages are laid out a little wonkily. the relevant stuff starts on december 27, 1973 which is page #65 in both the book and the .pdf.

I'd up and buy the series if they had everything up through the cancellation.
yup ditto. especially if it included the american pilot.

Or Audrey/Laura precanon fem-slash, possibly.
you've seen the movie, right? it's already a prequal, might get in the way of your precanon plans...

In my fanfic world, there is always pre-precanon.

Now would be a good day to snuggle under blankets, eat pie, and watch the creepy show.

the creepy show
are you referring to a particular episode?
From: [identity profile] butterflydrming.livejournal.com
I watched TP in two attempts. The first time, the scene of Bob crouching behind the bed railing gave me such a case of the creep outs that I didn't want to watch any more. When it re-ran, I started watching it again, mostly because a new friend was really into it, and the enthusiasm was catching.

The whole thing tends to give me a sense of "someone standing behind me". Even the music.

yunno, i never rilly got creeped by it. ok, almost never. i was a big fan when it aired, and organized at least three viewing parties where we blew through the entire 9 hours of the first season, energized by donuts, pie, and (for those who imbibe) coffee.

I'm from an arid region, so even the setting of trees and fog was uncomfortably strange to me.

Now I *really* want to have a big sleepover/watch-a-thon!

the setting of trees and fog
has only become familiar to me within the last 8 years too. i keep meaning to pay a visit to snoqualmie falls, and so far it's yet to happen.

Now I *really* want to have a big sleepover/watch-a-thon!
"if you will it, it is no dream."

(for five bonus points, figure out which movie i was watching yesterday evening based on that quote. only three points if you use google or imdb.)

Snoqualmie Falls should be a pleasant trip in spring... say April?

I admit with shame that even reducing my point potential, I cannot guess the movie.

here's another clue for y'all

it includes a bit part for the guy who plays Professor Lupin in the HP movies.

(extra two points for non-google figuring out the origin of the subject line)

and i could see myself seeing snoqualmie falls in april. assuming appropriate driving music etc.
