Context: labeled boxes put in the wrong drawers, which has happened a few times.
My boss: "Someone needs to be checked for a neurological disorder."
Me, thinking of my mental state: "That would be me."
Boss, shocked look, laughs at the joke he thinks he isn't getting.
I don't explain that I am the one who made today's mistake, and the recent ones too, because I am 1)stressed 2)doing other people's job duties on top of my own 3)rushed because of it and 4)depressed enough to be making me fumble through the days. Neurological disorder, yes.
I think I need help I am unable to acquire, and I also think it doesn't matter.
