10 things I’ve learned from watching anime

1.Carry a handkerchief. You’ll want one to sit on at lunchtime, and if you hand it to a crying girl, you’ll look like a hero. Your handkerchief says a lot about you, so carry something that suits your personality.

2.Not just anyone can be the magic girl. If you are really interesting, you’ll probably always be a minor character with limited screen time. If you’re lucky, someone good will fanfic you, though.

3.Wear cute underpants.

4.Even if you dream about it, beware of Tokyo Tower. Strange stuff always happens there.

5. At a hotspring or in a hot bath, don’t space out! You’ll overheat and faint. On the plus side, if you do, a cute love-interest will be the most likely candidate to rescue you. Otherwise, it'll be monkeys.

6.There is something odd about a can of mackerel.

7.Not just anyone can be a mecha pilot. If you are older than high school age, your chances are close to nil.

8.Do your best! Show your guts!

9.You can only become stronger when you have something to protect.

10. Never say, “I want to know more and more about you” to your love interest. Something bad will happen to one of you.

This cracked me up. I shall remember 3, 8 and 9 as I go out to battle the day tomorrow.
