The Slightly Odd Things You Like To See People Post That People Might Otherwise Not Know That You Really Like So You're Telling Them Now Meme

1) Make a list of five things you like to see on your f-list.
2) Post this list to your journal.
3) Sit back and wait for the awesomeness to roll in. Yes.

My five are:
1.Haiku. They're relatively easy, and amuse me greatly.
2.Polls about anything at all.
3.Long posts about your personal philosophies on the way the world should be. Less rant, more contemplation.
4.Explanations of why a link is so interesting to you that you feel the need to post it.
5.Daily wonder. Things that you came across that sparked your interest, but you don't think anyone else will care about. Like enormous earthworms, forks run over by cars, globs of melted bottle glass in the remains of a fire.

*grins* I'm celebrating my birthday today and really need to clean my house. :-( So I haven't got time for an update, but I'll try to fullfill your wish(es) tomorrow or Monday.

on the off chance that you're talking at/to me, i often do linkposts more for myself (so i can find them again), and as such they're often done quickly. but i'll try to give more context next time ;-)

Not just to you... you're not the only worst offender. ;) It seems to go in waves -- scads of posts on my Friends Page that are pretty much just a link to something.

i'm hoping that at some point the tags functionality will allow people to specify "i want to read all of [livejournal.com profile] buhrger's posts, except for his [linkpost] ones".

I'll have to post more of #5. I always think people will classify it as "spam"...
