Task-oriented
Aug. 13th, 2007 06:08 pmI tend to lose track of the time and stay past my scheduled end-of-day. If my co-worker hadn't noticed that it was almost 6, I would have kept going... .
It's largely because I'm essentially doing two different jobs. They both tend to require focus. I get involved in the task at hand. I like to finish it all at once, myself, instead of breaking it up over several days (the office stuff) or handing it off to someone else to finish (the inks). It's immensely satisfying to complete something (huge) myself.
But now I get to trundle home and *notice* than missing half hour. If I don't leave on time, I miss the better bus transfer times, but oh, well.
