butterflydreamingI've gone back and tagged most of the memes and quizes and Q&As up through Spring of this year, and as I was doing so I tripped over a few things.
SEVEN ways to win my heart:
1. Tell me a secret.
2. Pay attention to me, especially when I'm saying something.
3. Remember something that I thought you hadn't noticed.
4. Make physical contact.
5. Make intellectual contact.
6. Show kindness and respect toward others; be someone's champion; defend the weak.
7. Think for yourself and speak your thoughts.

Kindness is costly, and I usually horde it to myself. It's just this every now and again... I want to chose someone.

I get put off my food even with the assumption that the characters are "older now than in canon". If the writer hasn't taken the time to establish the age, I'm hitting the Back button fast.
The age difference pairings give me the most chills. A seven year difference isn't such a big deal post-physical maturity, but it really depends on the mental/emotional maturity of the younger party. Like, a 13yr old girl paired sexually with a 20yr old boy -- can't take it. I know it happens in RL, but it sickens me in RL too.
Sex is just not sexy unless those involved are truly consenting. And sometimes... it's still not sexy.
