I just got back from a spur-of-the-moment overnight excursion to the Olympic Penninsula (lavender farms! Hurricane Ridge! Indian food! And I brought back presents...), and I was going to write up a post about it. However, a certain person on my f-list has just posted a big post about characters. My answer is a bit longer than fits in a comment, I think.

I went over 24 hours without a computer. I think that merits the two posts that are forthcoming.
