[livejournal.com profile] buhrger and I came up with a new emoticon. I'd show you, but I don't know how to make a sigma. Look at the comments here to see it. (And if someone can tell me how to link to a particular comment, that would be most helpful to me.

In less silly news, someone I like very much had a proposition for me today. I've been offered a (new) job... pending thinking it over... but... but... wheeeeee! Oh, I hope I haven't just jinxed it. I'll be a little more certain after I visit the office next week. We'd talked about it some time in early March, but I didn't think the offer was going to actually materialize.

It's with a morgage brokerage, by the way. Part time to start, but more hours than I do now; that's good because it would mean that I'd still have the kind of free time I've become spoiled with.

"catgirlesque" would make a good LJ name.

Well, if one were indeed catgirlesque. I clearly am not.

I HOPE I clearly am not.

...I think I must lay claim to the username in the name of [livejournal.com profile] stormflare. She knows why. She can be very..catgirlesque...at times. (Pointless random inside joke that comes from sharing a hotel room with her--feel free to ignore)

Somebody worthy should totally have it.

The link circled in red is the link to that specific comment. The one in blue, if it's there (and it will be if someone replied to the comment) leads to the exact same place.

Hope that helps.

Incidentally, to display the character sigma on a web browser, type "& sigma;" without that space in between. (Don't forget the semicolon.)

Alternately, just copy-and-paste off the character map. But then that usually becomes tedious.

{appreciates you}

I did try that for sigma, but for some reason, I got a different letter on the preview.

σ

σ is a lower-case sigma. to make it upper-case, you use an uppercase S. so instead of "σ", try "Σ", and you should get Σ. the full cat is thus "Σ:Ð", which should look like Σ:Ð
