How many languages can you say 'thank you' in? Bold the ones that you know, italicize the ones you didn't before, and add some new ones to the list. (Base started by
peacewish.)
1. Thank you - English
2. Gracias - Spanish
3. Merci - French
4. Grazie - Italian
5. Arigatou - Japanese
6. Kapkun kah - Thai
7. Komop sami dahd - Korean
8. Sheh-sheh - Chinese (I sort-of knew this one, but I've always been afraid to actually say it to a native speaker.)
9. Place flat open hand to chin, fingertips touching mouth, and move hand outward - American Sign Language
10. Danke - German
11. Rub flank against the Big's leg (or shoulder, if it's sitting), accompany with shake of tail -- American Domestic Longhair cat
12. Head bump, with vocalization -- Siamese mixed breed cat

Terima Kasih - Malay/Indonesian
Dankon - Esperanto (why the heck do I know this?)
