My biggest motivator is seeing how close I am to the day's goal, whether that be by page or by actual word count. I keep struggling through those last few hundred.

My hands are hurting today, a stiffness. It's mostly the left, so I know it's from typing, not from the hand writing. Or I might be clenching my hands in my sleep again, something I used to do a lot. (Like I'm strangling someone, ha ha.) It's from the weather, too, because the icy coldness has slipped in. We're supposed to have a winter with snow, they say.
