I'm going to do one of those voluntarily social things this afternoon! Go me! It's a "Stitch n Bitch", like a sewing bee but for knitting/crochet. People that I actually like (who are customers/co-workers). The plan was to work on my very fashionable eyelash scarf, but I started another scarf this morning, on a whim, as a Christmas gift for my sister. Green and white, from some yarns that used to be hers, and it's looking rather pretty! (Handmade scarves are *the thing* this season, y'know.)

On thursday, my girl and I are making an excursion to Portland (OR), to hit Lush & Powell's City of Books, and that killer fabric store (whose name I forget). Oh, Lush! I'm so happy that you've put stores in the States!

(Which reminds me... I was going to stalk see if Chris has written anything new in his journal...)

Well, they are touring. I'm sort of hoping that I won't drop anything when I see him again. Because, frankly, it's a ridiculous crush.

Chris Walla comes into where I work (is a customer) and I've even sort of had conversations with him. (Well, one. The rest doesn't count as conversation.) Before DCfC left on tour, I'd fall apart every time he came in... he's... really... "dreamy". In person, he SO cute. I liked him *before* I knew that he was a rockstar, so it's not star-struckness, but, it's still hopeless.
