Clueless!

I know that Photobucket is one option for image hosting, but can anyone suggest any other hosts? It's time for a new layout, and I'd love to put in a background image. Because the editor on the webspace that I have is so "user-friendly" (read, "rigid"), I don't know if I can use it as the URL for the image.

Oh, and I just want to say -- Greatest Journal? Useless! The only reason I have a username there is so that no one else uses it. Believe it or not, that's *happened*.

I just signed up for Webshots - it's free or you can pay to upgrade. Not sure what you'd need. www.webshots.com

Alternatively, if you have a paid account, what about fotobuilder at livejournal? (At the userinfo or login page, click Journal, Pictures and it'll take you to Fotobuilder.

Quitter? *tsk* Don't RL suck sometimes, eh?

I thought adding "quitter" was kind of funny, especially since my default is going to change in a bit.

Thanks for telling me about fotobuilder; I had no idea. (Really, clueless.) Except, I'm still not sure how to make a background image *work*. I've actually read through most of the FAQs page on LJ, but it seems like somehow I missed a "class" somewhere. (Everybody else knows stuff I don't.)

I checked out Webshots, too. What I want to do is put in a graphic as my background. Of course, the drawback to that is that background images are slow to load when one is on dial-up. I guess we'll see what happens...{bites nails in contemplation}
