I'm getting my hair feathered today.

Unless my stylish throws me out of the salon for suggesting it. But, I really think it's coming back. After all, just look at the clothes in the mall. (Disco Inferno, all the way.) Since I'm unlucky enough to remember the early 80's (even though I was still a sprout in a red plaid Catholic school uniform), I figure that I may as well have a sense of humor about it. I found the most hilarious website, http://www.featheredback.com .
EDIT: Someone on my f-list just used the word "cafetorium". Whoo -- that takes me waaay back. O_o
And this is probably only funny to me (and Jouet Isobel):
So while I'm writing this Clow & Yuuko fic, I find that I won't actively contradict anything I've already written elsewhere (like when the Guardians were created and any of the characters or events in "CS"). Which breeds odd little conversations like this, which I'm not actually going to use, I don't think.

“There are other ways to cross into different worlds,” Clow said. “Have you heard of faerie gates?”
“Gates?” asked Yuuko. He had used the English word for it, and it felt strange for her to pronounce.
“Portals, to Faerie,” he explained, “which is a somewhat… volatile world. An invitation in required to use them, as mortals are not allowed in Faerie unaccompanied.”
“And I suppose you have an invitation,” Yuuko mocked.
Clow feigned insouciance. “Of course,” he replied. “A standing invitation, from a friend of many years.”
Yuuko steepled her fingers and studied the other magic user. “A lady friend, I gather?”
Clow’s answer came with his constant and aggravating smile. “In a manner of speaking,” he answered elusively.
A/N: Uh... Lady Isobel is from "Clow Stories". She's my OC who wants to get into everything. I use the term "lady" very loosely. (And she's a faerie; I think that much is apparent.)
