Reading friend's post, I see a mention of Clow Reed in xxxHolic (where? in 4? 5?). Not a ref. to Clow, but actual Clow.

Mmm... well Yuuko talks plenty about Clow... but the only place where you see him (besides CCS) it's Tsubasa... in a flashback.
