General apologies to all for my No Read/Review status in the next month. If you don't already know, I'm self-barred from 'fic for all of July.

One down, thirty more.  I will tame this monkey.  (Don't like monkeys.)

Thankfully, the Tsukimine Shrine Community archive suggestion for CCS fanfiction has been well recieved.  Talking about that is skirting the perameters of my vow, but not actually in violation.
 It only takes 3 days to form a habit, but it takes a week to break one.  I managed to stop chewing my nails when I decided to stop.  And since this is more of a Whim than anything else, it is motivated by my strongest drive.

After work, I spent the last few hours reading (Blood Debt), which humbles me to not want to fic TH.  I think I will read and do some editing on chapter 1 now, and if that is too horrifying, I can A) read a Michael Marshall Smith short story, or the first part of Spares, which will fill me with the desire to emulate him (original is too light-weight of a word for him), or I can B)go to the library and pick up the book that's waiting on hold for me (Drawing Blood).   Yeah, yeah -- I'm still in a vampire mood.  So if I can't face Turning the Key yet, I can take another bite (intentional bad pun) at Corr's story and attempt another short fiction.  I don't remember what I was going to call that, before, but I think "Bad Choices" fits.  Although the draft of that is in a notebook somewhere, I'm pretty sure that from scratch would be a better idea.

And, I still owe EV that letter.  I can do that when I get tired of hearing the computer breath.
