I'm at my dad's office in Glendale (CA) and I had some time to kill... that's why I'm here.
I got up too early again. I kept thinking that my five year old niece would wake up (in her parent's room) and find me in her room, and there'd be some kind of screaming after that. (I got to their house after she went to bed.) So, not so much with the relaxing sleeping in.
Venice today! Then Little Tokyo for an origami paper search... which will probably include some time in classicly Los Angeles traffic.
I didn't do a whole lot of anything yesterday. But I did treat myself to an AMAZING pastrami sandwich at my beloved Billy's Deli. How I have missed the food.
That's what the nostalgia boils down to, anyway -- food, and the beach. Look for both to start featuring heavily in my writing again.
Oh, and I finally watched an episode of Queer Eye. I'm so glad that I don't have TV. I might never have a life, at that rate. I had my chin in my hands and was grinning wildly the whole time.
