Ask me anything, question 5

What did you eat for breakfast?
(poem)
I wish that I'd had breakfast-in-bed
Since bed is where I should have been
When at early day, the breakfast hour,
The coffee-needy hoards came crowding in
New cash register, this morning, and prices gone up
And me so thoroughly under the weather
It was impossible to smile while pouring the cups
It was exhaustingly taxing, to "keep it together"
The manager strolled through the door
At a quarter past nine.
He helped, for a bit,
To ease up the line.
I stayed more than an hour, after my shift was done
So weary of everything that when I got home, I cried
I need a new job; I really need to find one
There is no point in being this dissatisfied
I'm looking for something where I can get up after dawn
Something that isn't repetitively tiring
I'm smart and I'm able, both brains and brawn
So do let me know, if you hear that someone's hiring!
