Changing Gears

butterflydreamingToday has been dominated by thinking about the short story anthology that my PCGs are making happen. After a nice lunch out with D, I came home and read all the stories, starting with my own. It's been an awesome day. Group energy!
But now in these few minutes before dinner -- thank you D, for cooking -- I find myself unsure of how to switch gears. I guess I'm lucky that there aren't all that many minutes. I could... stare at the pretty roses on my desk or something. I could look up whether aspirin actually does make them last longer, as I keep intending to do and forgetting to do.
(Answer: yes.)
I've been doing some beadwork lately, but that's really best in the morning with better light. The finished project is a leather cuff with the beadwork atop. It's been interesting. I've been doing a bunch of things I usually don't: beaded bezel, sculptural beadweaving, right angle weave, & coloring leather.
