coffeedaiv often mentions some idea that could become fanfic. I tend to lose track of these (that is, I put them in a lets-not-and-say-we-did oubliette), but here are a couple recent ones.

Sleepy Hollow (TV): The Headless Horseman's pale horse wanders around during [spoiler redacted]. Horse POV. He refers to his Hessian rider as "Apples."

Pacific Rim (movie): How they test for drift compatibility at the (foodie) Seattle Shatterdome. It's all about food. The jaeger pilots are fit and active but a little plump.
