And lived to tell the tale.
We went the Puyallup Fair yesterday, so I finally rode the roller coaster. Its current incarnation is older than me and quite a bit more decrepit, which added an element of un-fun fear as we slung around the top. It's a fun design, though. Wooden roller coasters rock.
And I had a swirl cone, ate curly fries, looked at the llamas, and bought odd stuff. My splurge on myself was for a Moon Glow necklace. It's an image of the moon in the phase it was on the day of my birth (earthshine crescent). Made cheaply with pewter and glued in "gems", it's exactly the kind of thing one should buy at a fair. It glows under blacklight and in-the-dark. I love it.

I always remember the episode of CSI involving rollercoaster deaths when I ride the Puyallup coaster... Scary in an unfun way.
