My latest trick...

...is to grab my friends' page and read it offline. Lack of commenting results, but at least I'm making good use of brief moments of WiFi. I stalk you! (Okay, not really I suppose.)

I'm also *writing down* every time I use my debit card, and balancing my checkbook each time. I'm determined to find some coins at the bottom of the jar, this month or next. Next.

Which I will promptly spend on autumn/winter clothes and shoes. It's gone from nice-to-have to need. As has a haircut, though not as severely.

I wish I could buy a book. I could, I guess -- and I can't. I feel wistful about it.

I'm honestly loving using the library this year. I had totally forgotten the joy of being able to obsessively read because there's always another book waiting for me!

I'm reading voraciously again as compared with my pre-library rediscovery book consumption.

The library is my source. I'd be in a bad way, otherwise. I enjoy treasure hunting through used book stores and thrift store book sections. Nevertheless, I want to *purchase* a book. A new book. Not even one on sale! It feels different.
