(what's the difference, really?)
My computer at home is frozen on the Windows shut down screen. Now I don't have a working computer at home. I was saying only yesterday that I wanted to hold off on getting a new battery and a check up for it, til August if possible.
I'm at the library. I've hardly even used my computer lately; I've even been writing longhand, what bit of writing I've been doing. At work there has been too much time, enough to keep up with my f'list and plenty left over for webquizes and time-wasting. Waiting for the bursts of something-that-needs-to-get-done-now is the way the job is all the time, but when we are busy, the tasks overlap.
It doesn't make any real difference, but if feels weird, uncomfortable, to be limited to the library, the office, and web cafes. Oh, well. For a while, the best way to reach me electronically has through my cell phone anyway. It did get me out for a walk this morning, instead of my usual Sunday holing up with a latte and reading of LJ. (My mom is in CA.) I love to go out for walks, and I'm more to do so if I have a destination.
