Like the icon, I'll only be able to watch, this Christmas. The quick test says it's not strep. The culture won't be done for a few days, to know if it was a false negative. If it is viral -- I won't squick you with details -- then there is nothing to do but sleep a lot and wait it out. Soup is my friend.

The ick descended over the weekend. I think I was lucky to get a doctor's appointment without much waiting. I like my doctor; she seemed sincerely sympathetic.

Sorry to hear this. Hope the test stays negative. Have some chicken pho for extra healing power--cream puffs don't hurt either, if it's at the Than Bros.
