I should learn to drive so I can sometimes just go out in the middle of nowhere.
L took the bus (!) to Port Angeles and stayed at the Downtown Hotel, last summer. It cost under $10 for the journey including ferry, about $60 for the hotel room (which is European hostel style). There are campsites along the way, too, though Port Townsend, Sequim, and P.A. are all small enough to feel like the middle of nowhere. ^_^
Ha, I almost offered to do the driving, but that would defeat the "alone" requisite, wouldn't it?
Maybe I could drop you off and we could stay at different places. ::giggles: We could get a car-full of people, all doing that.
