India-Indian. I felt that it was for a religious holiday. There were many booths that had dioramas set up -- a doll festival arrangement, a series of human figures representing a man from infancy through old age -- and few booths with crafts or food. (The food was free, but not set up while we were there.) There was a informational maze explaining reincarnation and vegetarianism. There were lots of cute little kids in fancy dress.
I think it was going to become more lively in the later evening. I didn't see any music or dancing set up but had the feeling that there might be some, later.
