butterflydreamingI won't be online again until Sunday morning (if then). Tomorrow in the early I set out for a couple of days of Lavender Festivaling on the Olympic Penninsula. This includes:
India Oven restaurant in Port Angeles
the drive up to Hurricane Ridge, weather permitting
touring multiple lavender farms
LAVENDER ICE CREAM OMG YUM from Purple Haze
more lovely lip balm from Lost Mountain Lavender Farm
and the best-smelling street fair ever.
We are also going to show up at the Bon Odori Festival in the I-District, if not Saturday night, then Sunday. It's a little street thing on Jackson & 14th-ish. While takoyaki has been lacking, there are
taiko drumming
traditional dancing (open participation)
kori (shaved ice)
a joyful atmosphere
and lots ofcute girls people in yukata.
