Oh, and the pub...

I forgot to mention that Fado is kinda cool. We had a table in the back room, an area less smokey than near the bar; several people commented that it looked like a dungeon. This is the room with the white candles that you can see in the windows if you're getting on the Viaduct at Columbia. They really do light them, too.

The boxty potatoes were tasty, though terribly fattening, I'm certain. O_O Fried, and with a (scrumtious) cheese sauce!

There's a Fado in Las Vegas, making Sunset Station one of the few casinos we'll willingly visit. I'm assuming they're the same Fado*, but we haven't gone to the one in Seattle yet so I'm not sure.

The Fado in Vegas had something delicious called Beef Boxty. Mmmmm.

*Well, not EXACTLY the same Fado. Presumably they are two different locations in space.

Is Mae Phim still just west of there? That is my favorite restaurant of all time. I'd hike my pregnant ass down there in the summer months and get their very very hot green curry.

Sorry, that was totally off topic! I'm glad that Fado is cool, I've always wanted to stop in and check it out.
