Seasonally affected

The sunshine in Seattle today was beautiful, but if you were up and about this morning at 7:30 on Capitol Hill, you would have seen the "kitsune-takes-a-bride" effect of rain while the sun was shining. It was the most delicate of rain, tiny droplets -- not mist -- shimmering down through blooming cherry and pear trees.

Coming home laden with tasty groceries, I ran into joyful_storm. :) Who shared the bad news I hadn't seen on LJ/FB yet. :(

I haven't done anything productive besides feed myself since I got home. And play with the cat and open the windows for fresh air. Nevertheless, the sun was enough to generate a cheerful, live-in-the-moment mood.

I have string cheese.
