Missed it by *that* much.
Sep. 23rd, 2006 06:25 pmNo sitar concert for me tonight. Metro would get me to the edge of UW campus with just enough time to be rudely late, and rushing anywhere after today would be a bit too much.
So instead I'm hanging out, watching someone else play video games. I used to do that with my brother; he'd play and I'd watch. That way I never had to make Mario or any other character jump over shifting distances to land on a tiny, moving platform. {shudder} That's why I loved the first Zelda, and later, FF7. I still prefer the chibi look of that character style over contemporary game worlds. My brother has told me about a new game that has the visual style of Chinese brush painting. That's one that I would like to see.
( cut for emo rambling )
