Mar. 21st, 2006 05:14 pmOne of the LOs came up to the printer to get an email from a lender that he had printed off. There was a printer jam. Instead of the lender's email, in his print tray were 3 copies of A LETTER FROM GOD. [The Christian God]
This amused me greatly. Divine printing! "God has written you this love letter," had me laughing.
However, I have to say that the letter itself is clever. Someone took time to select verses that lined up & made sense when read straight through. I encourage you to put any anti-Christian feeling you have aside for a few minutes and take a look at this. Technically, it's interesting.
Message-wise, I also like it. "You were not a mistake," it says. It doesn't say anything about abortion, homosexuals, or "values". It doesn't say "or else you're going to Hell". It's... sweet. And someone or, more likely, group of Christians, put this together to make someone feel loved.
See? We're not all ignorant and hateful.
