i stood and looked straight at you when you came in the door and shouted your name and waved my arms. i was in the midst of getting our coats checked, and the two of you disappeared into the crowd. when i got back to C and the_monkey_king they said they'd had a similar experience. we had the corner booth, which you gladly could have shared until it was time for DeVotchKa. i'm most sorry to hear about your transportation woes. we didn't drink after 11 or so and could have given you a lift home. we've been in the same predicament and ended up walking home to south Queen Anne from Ballard.
